Join the excitement at the annual I-LYA Power Regatta, hosted by Put-in-Bay Yacht Club. This multi-day event brings boaters together for friendly competition, navigation contests, social gatherings, and family-friendly fun on Lake Erie. A tradition loved by boaters for generations.

The regatta kicks off with dockage available at noon on July 22. Opening ceremonies, games and food and beverage follow. Regatta events including docking, chicane, flying mile and predictive log. The Junior Power Regatta includes safe boating, navigation, weather prediction, and fishing. The event also includes softball, volleyball, putt-putt, and golf for those who are competitive on shore as well as on the water.

The Amphicars will gather on Monday, July 29th at 11:00 at the boat launch near The Keys in downtown Put-in-Bay.  Watch as they drive into the water and head over to Middle Bass Island.  They’ll return to The Keys parking lot later in the afternoon for spectators to have an up close and personal look at these unique cars/boats!  It’s a unique opportunity to step back in time and enjoy the nostalgia and innovation of the 1960s. Experience island tradition at the I-LYA Senior Sail Regatta, hosted by Put-in-Bay Yacht Club. For over 100 years, this exciting race weekend has welcomed sailors and spectators to enjoy skillful sailing, lake breezes, and vibrant island camaraderie each summer.

I-LYA Sail Regatta has been an island tradition for over 100 years at Put-in-Bay. Put-in-Bay welcomes this annual sailing tradition based at Put-in-Bay Yacht Club.

The Inter-Lake Yachting Association extends an invitation to join the Regatta at Put-in-Bay, Ohio. The events begin with sail racing from Cleveland, Detroit, Sandusky, and Toledo. Races finish at the island. That afternoon the Sail Regatta will kick off with opening ceremonies and food and beverages in the tent. Around the island races will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday with additional races pending wind conditions. In addition to PHRF, JAM and Cruising courses, there is also a Centerboard Course which will run a dedicated start for any class with at least five boats.
