The Lake Erie Islands Historical Society’s popular Island Pioneer Cemetery Walk will review the lives of Jose DeRivera, Catherine and Valentine Doller, and Wealthy and John Brown Jr. along with other early island residents. Learn the history of Put-in-Bay from the first people who settled on the island. These people will be brought to life by local re-enactors who will share these historic islanders’ stories, lives and struggles with you. The program takes place at Crown Hill Cemetery located at the corner of Catawba and Niagara Avenues.
