Historic Weekend Parade

DowntownPut-in-Bay, OH

Join us downtown on Saturday, September 10th, for a parade! The parade will start at 2:15 and go around the downtown square and disband at Perry’s Monument.
The Clyde High School Band, the Anthony Wayne High School Band, the Deputies Baton and Drum Corps, and the Put-in-Bay Panther Baton Group will all be marching in the parade! We are also excited to have local fair and festival royalty join us as well as the Ford Broncos!
Our Parade Grand Marshall is lifelong island resident, Tyrus Burgess. Tyrus is a US Navy Veteran who served from 1955 to 1959. He also worked for the National Park Service at the Monument in the summer of 1960 and then again from 1970 until he retired in 1996. Tyrus is also known as an old car lover and has owned some pretty cool cars over the years!
The High School Bands will also preform before the parade in DeRivera Park at 12pm!
Thank you to our parade sponsors, Mr. Ed’s, Frosty’s, The Goat, Boardwalk Family of Restaurants and Put-in-Bay Subway!
